Senate, House Pass Homebuyer Tax Credit; Legislation awaits President’s signature

Late Wednesday night, the Senate passed the Homebuyer Tax Credit extension by a vote of 98-0. Today, the House took up the bill, and with a vote of 403-12, the bill passed. It is the hope of the real estate industry that it will be on the fast track for the President’s desk for signature. We will continue to keep you updated as this bill moves through the legislative process.
