Senate, House Pass Homebuyer Tax Credit; Legislation awaits President’s signature

Late Wednesday night, the Senate passed the Homebuyer Tax Credit extension by a vote of 98-0. Today, the House took up the bill, and with a vote of 403-12, the bill passed. It is the hope of the real estate industry that it will be on the fast track for the President’s desk for signature.
